1 year check up

Laine weighed 22 lbs and is 30 inches long at her 1 year check up yesterday. She climbed all over the exam table and chairs in the room. Dr. Stacey was very impressed by her vocabulary which now includes baby, ball, bye bye, MaMa, Dada, bird, Putt Putt, bubba, no no, hey, Mimi, Paw Paw and dog. She has also said Maggie and Mommy but each only once. She has started calling me Mimi but I'm not sure why. My sister plans to work on saying her name over the weekend. Laine is officially on whole milk after a year of breastfeeding. Yup, packed them away and ready to be recharged for the next kid (not any time soon). Her appetite has dramatically decreased lately. She still wants to eat the same food, just much less of it. Dr. Stacey said that's just what toddlers do. So I guess she suddenly knew she was a toddler. Maybe this will slim down those thunder thighs that are so cute. I will miss them when they're gone. Tomorrow is her birthday party and it is going to be so much fun.
