We've had a great weekend. Laine is really back to her silly self these days. It's so sad when she doesn't feel good. She really enjoyed visiting her Paw paw at Edwin Watts yesterday and Daddy teaching her to putt. She has been practicing her dance moves every chance she gets and we taped her dancing while she pushed the same musical button on a toy for 10 minutes last night. Today we went to church, sunday school, lunch at Jason's Deli and visited baby Shep at the hospital. She fell asleep before we even got off Brookwood property in the car. After her nap we went to EJ and Helena's house to visit. She entertained everyone but we had to leave around kick off of the Super Bowl because she was trying to curl up in the corner of the room. After we got home, she had a bath and was fast asleep at 6:20 PM. She has recently become even more adventurous with her food choices. She ate broccoli and chees soup for lunch. She refused to let me help her so she alternated using a fork and a spoon dipped in soup. She made a mess but I didn't want to hear her scream in the middle of Jason's Deli.
UPDATE on Laine's mommy and daddy: Keat is super busy these days with work and we are both getting more involved at church. We are starting a Lenten bible study this wednesday. One of Laine's teachers is going to come to our house to babysit on Wednesdays for the next 8 weeks. I still don't have a dissertation project yet. Same idea but the specific project keeps changing. My committee can't make a decision. No wonder it takes people 10 years to finish their PhD.
