In the world of parenthood, sleeping is precious, so it was a small miracle that we all slept til 7:45 am on Saturday. We headed over to Keat's parent's house to eat breakfast and then to Chandler's birthday party. Then later on Saturday we went to the "We love Homewood Day" parade. Laine loved the band, cheerleaders and fire truck. Then Keat and I went to a party at Ted's Garage benefiting the UAB Cancer Center. Megan babysat Laine (she watched TV at our house while Laine slept the whole time). Pretty easy gig.
On Sunday, we slept late again but made it to church on time. Then we ate lunch at Jason's Deli and then came home. Laine took a 3 hour nap! So nice. I got to rest but Keat had to work. It was a beautiful day, so we spent some time outside and took a walk. Laine and Putter are enjoying the mild weather. I think she is feeling better but she is still using the nebulizer twice a day. She goes to see the pulmonologist at Children's Hospital on Friday. Throughout all of this, she continues to be silly and doing new things every day. Her vocabulary is exploding now. She tells us she "made a mess" a lot. She says it and then we look for what she is talking about. Sometimes she actually made a mess but usually it's when she has dirty hands. She's constantly changing her shoes throughout the day as well. A girl after my own heart but it is a little frustrating when she suddenly decides she wants to change shoes after she is completely dressed and I'm ready to walk out the door.
