Friday was Brooks's 30th birthday. Her sweet husband, Greg, hosted a party for her at a friend's pub in downtown Birmingham. Keat and I dragged our tired selves to the party while his parents babysat both kiddos. They were both asleep when we left the house. Fabulous, only Laine woke up early in the morning. She's been having nightmares lately and waking up during the night. Crazy that Davis (the 9 week old) is the one sleeping longer.
We also went to a Kentucky Derby party on Saturday afternoon. Davis was very loved by several people who held him the entire time we were there. Laine kept saying it was Emma's birthday party when it was really just a party at Emma's house. Of course, she wore her party hat.
