Laine had her End of the Year party on Friday. It was steamy hot but Davis and I braved the weather to celebrate with Laine. She even carried the banner during the parade with Mae Grace and her teacher, Tanja. She had so much fun dancing, eating a Tweety bird ice cream, and riding on the train that she never even jumped in the bouncer.
We planned to go to the golf tournament on Saturday but the rain kept us away. We ate lunch at the welcome center instead where Keat helped Laine play golf indoors. I almost captured on film Davis laughing but not quite.
We went to our neighbor's birthday party on Saturday night. Keat and Davis were still dressed in their golf attire. Laine wore her party dress and party hat. She even sang Happy Birthday to our neighbor by herself.
