Happy 4th of July

Laine helped make the jello flag cake on Friday. We also made our weekly trip to the zoo on Friday morning.

Saturday we went to the Farmer's Market, went shopping at Target and the Summit and then Laine went swimming in the baby pool with her new goggles.
Notice Putter running by in the background. He was very sick this week but is feeling better. He had an infected prostate and is going to be neutered once he is 100% better. His breeding days are over. He was due for his annual shots when I noticed that he was acting funny so we took him in on Wednesday. He is even on pain killers. He goes back next week for a recheck.

We went to downtown Homewood after dinner on Saturday. There were pony rides, the popsicle man, inflatable bouncers and other carnival type rides. Then we watched the fireworks. Shortly after they started at 9 pm, Laine said she was ready to go home. It was hot and they were tired. It was a late night for Davis and Laine. We had a great time.
