What a wonderful (and hot) weekend!

This past week has been so nice. Laine seems to have emerged from her 2 year old whiner faze and Davis has become such the sweet cuddly baby. I'm a little sad to be leaving Keat and Laine in Birmingham while Davis and I go to Austin for a week. We told Laine that she needs to take care of Putter after his surgery this week. One night this week she made him wear a party hat and attend her party for her toy animals.




On Wednesday our neighbor had the ice cream truck stop at her house and we walked over to play with our friends and enjoy something sweet. Davis just hung out in the stroller with Anderson. The little girls thought it was really funny.



On Saturday we went to Ross Bridge to swim at the pool with Gramma. Then we went to EJ and Helena's house for dinner. Laine enjoyed playing with James and Davis enjoyed James' big boy toys. He used the exersaucer for the first time and liked it.



Today I took Laine to the zoo after lunch. We were about to ride on the train when it started pouring rain. We had to sit under a semi covered area for over 30 minutes til the rain let up. It was really hot and humid. Then tonight we lost power for awhile. One of my friends is letting us borrow this bath seat. So during the power outage we gave the kids a bath. Yeah! What a time saver. Now I can bathe Davis and Laine at the same time. Laine loved pouring water on Davis and he loved sitting up in the tub.
