Davis can officially sit up! We've been encouraging him this past week and now he can sit unsupported for 15-20 minutes at a stretch. Of course he can't get out of this position so he will whine that he's ready to do something else but he can easily reach for toys to play with them. This is very exciting because now he can start eating solid foods besides baby cereal and oatmeal. I made baby food for the first time this week- green beans. Davis tried it out, cried at first from the new taste but then ate 2 oz of them.
As you can tell by his face, I think he enjoyed it and I enjoyed being able to wipe down his bib instead of having to scrub his cloth bibs.
