Here are Laine and Davis waiting patiently for Daddy to arrive at church last night. I dropped them off at 8 am and picked them up about 5 PM from school, fed Davis his yummy green peas and then we ate dinner in the dining hall. The food was yummy- poppy seed chicken, wild rice, green beans, fruit and a chocolate cupcake. Keat and I joined a small group bible study on Wednesday night at Canterbury called the Good News Experience, the Gospel of John. It is led by our senior pastor, Dr. Bill Morgan. We have small groups that meet after the large group each week. We have enjoyed weeknight activites at Canterbury in the past but it has always been a problem for Laine. She used to keep us prisoner in our own home with her early bedtime so we had to have a babysitter for her. She's more flexible now so we thought we would give it a try. It worked out great. We end each week at 7:15 pm, which is a little late for us to be getting home and starting the bedtime routine but it's only once a week. They lucked out, no baths on Wednesday nights now. Laine had a lot of fun and Davis was content. No complaints from anyone. I'm really excited that we will be able to attend this Fall even though it makes for a long day for everyone.
