The kids woke up early (5:30 am) this morning. You would have thought it was Christmas! Laine asks us everyday lately "Is it christmas day?" Earlier this week, Laine and I made this cake and some Thanksgiving crafts. I am testing out my baking skills. It tasted good even though it didn't look that great. I had to make my own icing because I didn't have any at home. It was cream cheese icing and we added food coloring to make it orange. After we arrived at Gramma and Pawpaw's house, Laine changed into her leotard, tights and ballet skirt. I mean, "Why would you not wear your ballerina outfit to Thanksgiving lunch?"
Laine made placecards for everyone and told everybody where they should sit long before our meal.
