The little fella weighed 26lbs and is 32 inches long (75% in both) today at his check up. He was happy as a clam until the nurse tried to give him an eye exam. He was so hysterical that we couldn't do it. I think his vision is fine anyway. He only had one vaccine and was immediately happy once he had a grape sucker. Amazing the things I let Davis do that I didn't let Laine do at the same age. I don't think she had a sucker til she was well over 2 1/2.
Milestones, happenings and other random thoughts at 15 months.
He loves to babble lately. There are only about 10 words that we understand, otherwise he just babbles constantly. This really amazes me since he's the second child and he used a pacifier for a year. Glad he is talkative because we love to hear his sweet voice.
He loves to be outdoors. It amazes me how much he looks like my brother, Erik. We plan to go to the Homewood Pool tomorrow (and every Saturday during the summer). He loves the scooter and the jog stroller in addition to the swing and sand box. Lots of fun activities in the yard.
This kid has really good hand eye coordination. Keat does "ball drills" with him where he rolls the ball to him. Davis picks it up with his left hand, switches it to his right and then throws it. Again and again. This could entertain him for hours if we were willing.
He is finally eating fruit. Ahh, I just never gave up. I think it took 2 months of giving him cut up fruit before he finally ate any. Of course he still wants all his meals to be in a casserole style, all mixed together. The day care cuts up and mixes all his lunch together everyday.
He loves milk, which he says is "moook?" As if it's a question, while signing "more" with his hands. So funny. He has mastered any type of sippy cup. He often goes after Laine's cup when he's finished with his.
He's not very good at sharing. He gets really mad when Laine takes something away from him or we don't let him get his way. Full on tears and red face. We just laugh and he quickly forgets within a minute or two.
