The birthday boy

We had his check up early to recheck his nose(which is healing just fine). He weighed 32 lbs (85%) and is 34 1/2 inches (75%).

At the beginning of the year he really started talking a lot. He's been talking in 3 word sentences for about 6 weeks. He's super funny, smart and inquisitive. He's also very sensitive and can be brought to tears pretty quickly. He loves trucks, cars, puzzles and of course, Buzz Lightyear. He sleeps with an arrangement of stuffed animals but his favorites are Mickey Mouse and a duck called "Quack." He copies everything Laine does, which annoys her most of the time. He's all boy but he likes to copy his sister so that means he wears girl shoes and headbands sometimes as well.

We are so blessed to have this little guy in our lives. We thought we were pretty clever 2 years ago to give him the nickname "Davis" to distinguish him from his grandfather and father. Little did we know that the name Davis would be so popular or that his sister would call him Brother, Bubbe and eventually Bubs. He calls himself "Bubba" though when we ask him his name. He answers to the nickname "Bubs" a lot quicker than any other name. Maybe Bubs Litton will be a famous baseball player one day, much to his daddy's delight.
