Laine went to school with Keat on Friday because they were having outdoor activities and a picnic. Friday also happened to be Homewood cheerleading try outs so Laine decided to practice with them. She had a very fun day.
Davis had a not so fun day with Mommy. Well, he liked that he was with me all day but he did not like going to the doctor. He went with me to my office and played while I worked until we could go to the doctor to check out his eye. He has had a blocked dear duct since birth. This causes his eye to tear excessively and sometimes get infected. Usually it doesn't bother him but when it's infected, he rubs it and it looks gross. We have been treating it with medicated eye drops for the past 2 years. We found out Friday that he has to see an ophthalmologist to have surgery on the tear duct. Yuck. No fun. Apparently his eye has become resistant to the previous eye drops. We started using new medicated eye drops and it looks so much better. His eye will keep doing this until he has surgery. He is scheduled to see the specialist on the 22nd.
