Poor little Bubs had no idea why we were going to the Children's Hospital this morning at 5:45 am. We were worried that he would be hungry or thirsty but he only asked for water around 8 am a few times. He was pretty happy and silly until the nurse tried to check his vitals. His surgery to repair his tear ducts took about 1 1/2 hours. He was mad as a hornet when he came back from recovery. His doctor said the surgery was successful and he will have the stints removed in 2 months. Entertaining him in the room was interesting for 3 hours before the nurse took him back. We played hide and seek in the closet. He has had a bloody nose today but that should be gone by tomorrow and he doesn't have to wear eye patches. The recovery is pretty simple.
