Swim lessons

Laine just enjoyed 2 weeks at Vacation Bible School (at 2 churches). This week she is taking swim lessons everyday. Gramma is taking her to the Homewood pool. She said she is doing so well. I asked her if she was going to become a little fish and she said no, "I'm doing the dog paddle."



This is our crafty clothes line in our backyard. I don't like to machine wash our bathing suits. I hand wash them each time and then hang them up in the bathroom. Well, it was taking too long to dry, so we decided to hang them outside. It's so hot, they dry in about 2 hours. Some may call it redneck but I call it "crafty."

This is Laine's Speedo tankini. It fits so well. The swim coordinator said she needed to wear a bathing suit that is not distracting (aka not frilly) and that she can go to the bathroom herself (ie, 2 piece). This tankini fit the requirements perfectly.
