Granny

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

-Psalm 100

My grandmother, Alice Mae Kaeding, was called home on August 14, 2011. I am certain of this. She was the most wonderful grandmother and because of our shared faith, I know I will see her again. Until then I will miss her but I will continue some of her traditions with Laine and Davis that she did when Erik, Amy and I were kids.

The picture is from Amy and Luke's wedding, an event that she did not want to miss and walked down the aisle just as she had planned. The scripture is from her funeral that she has preselected. It is the same Psalm that Laine's class learned in Sunday School the week before she died.
