Weekend Update

Keat and I went to Auburn on Saturday for the football game. We had a great time tailgating and at the game. We had to park really far away, but luckily Tiger Transit picked us up when we got there (even with our cooler in tow) and a guy on a golf cart drove us to our car after the game. We got back really late. Laine stayed at Keat's parents house for her first overnight visit. She loved it and was very behaved. We were supposed to pick her up on our way to church this morning but our clocks changed themselves to day light savings time a week ahead so we didn't make it to church. We still had to get dressed and go to Canterbury to take our church directory picture. Afterwards Laine and I drove to Clanton for her friend, James, first birthday party. Laine was the only girl there. James was a little unsure about all the attention while he ate his first sugary cupcake.
Laine wanted to help James eat his cupcake. She's a professional cake eater now. Catherine had to pick her up because she was literally trying to climb up the highchair.
Later Laine enjoyed playing with James's life size lion and giraffe. Her hair is so messy because she has discovered how to pull the bow out of her hair.
