Especially my brother's yellow lab, Ruby. In case you haven't looked at all the pictures of Laine's constant attempts to crawl over Ruby, pick her up by clumps of fur, pet, and pull her tail. Ruby was visiting my parents last week while Erik and Trish were in Arizona visiting her grandparents for Christmas. Finally Ruby had enough yesterday and started growling at Laine when she crawled over her back about the 10th time in a row. Needless to say, Laine missed Ruby when Erik went back home yesterday. She's been looking for her dog all day. Putter is not going to enjoy Laine's new found fascination with dogs when we get home tomorrow. In case you don't know what Putter looks like, here is a picture of his daughter, Sammie. She lives in Austin with her adoptive parents, Sarah and Brian. We got to see her last night. She was so well behaved.
