Wednesday Update

After thinking that Laine was having a mild reaction to the vaccines on Monday, we ended back up at the doctor's office on Tuesday. She had a fever and was having difficulty breathing. Apparently she was not having a reaction to the vaccine, but has pneumonia again. So she is being treated with antibiotics and an oral steriod after using the inhaler every 4 hours last night. She had a check up this morning and seems to be doing much better. Dr. Gilbert says that we need to treat the pneumonia, avoid the hospital and then figure out the underlying respiratory problem. She went from being perfectly fine to very close to going to the hospital in less than 24 hours. Luckily her oxygen level was 95 after the breathing treatment yesterday. This morning her oxygen level was still 95 so that was good news.
