Weekend

We had a busy fun filled weekend. On Friday night we ate dinner at Los Compadres. Of course, Laine had her regular- beef taco, rice and beans. On Saturday Laine woke up at 6 am and by 7:30 we had eaten breakfast and gone for a walk around the neighborhood. Then we went to the Farmer's Market, DSW to buy shoes to go with the dress for Erik's wedding, an estate sale where Gramma was helping her friend, then to Edwin Watts to trade in a golf club. We made it home to eat lunch and for Laine to take a nap. I left the house at 12:30 pm after Laine was asleep. Then I went shopping and when I came back, Keat and Laine were still asleep. After their 3 hour nap, we went to buy a birthday gift for one of Laine's friends and wrapping paper. Laine went to spend the night with Gramma and PawPaw so that Keat and I could go to a wedding shower for Matthew and Shana. They are getting married at the beach on July 3 but we won't be able to make it to the wedding. We had a good time at the party on Saturday night.

Today we picked Laine up from her grandparent's house and then went to church. Keat played in a golf tournament with some friends this afternoon. After Laine's afternoon nap, we went to play at her friend Jake Wilson's house. Jake and Laine are in the same class at Canterbury. They love playing together. They played in the baby pool this afternoon. This week Laine decided to name her girl baby doll "Jake" after her friend. It is hilarious to see her talk to "jake" the baby and feed him a bottle.
