We've had a busy few days. Our 3 year old niece, Claire, came to visit. Laine and Claire played everyday at Gramma and PawPaw's house. On Friday morning, Keat and I took Laine to the zoo. Gramma and Claire came too. We all had a good time. Some of the highlights were seeing the monkeys and camels, riding the train and playing in the water park.
I thought that Laine would be exhausted after the trip to the zoo, but she wasn't. She only took an hour nap. So we went to the mall in the afternoon. Then Brooks, Greg, baby Shep, Megan and Mark came over to grill out. Laine loved playing with Shep's car seat and toys. She showed him her baby dolls. Keat stayed home so that Laine could go to bed while the rest of us went to downtown Homewood to watch the fireworks.
This was my view yesterday on our walk around the block.
