Gas Shortage
That's right folks, the gas shortage has hit Birmingham, Alabama. It seems very strange that this is happening. Two weeks ago when Hurricane Ike hit Texas, Keat called me in DC to say he drove around to multiple gas stations to find gas and that the price had gone up 50 cents a gallon. Then it went back down last week. Well yesterday I had to go to more than one gas station to get gas. Are my family and friends in Texas having a gas shortage?

In Austin, we really haven't seen a shortage and it really hasn't gone up in price either. Maybe they think you Alabamians have more money. (hee hee)

Or maybe we have gas station owners who are ripping us off and crazy people who buy too much gas!
