Happy Birthday Keat!

Today is Keat's 31st birthday. I didn't get number balloons for the mailbox, but Laine picked out this balloon at Smith's Variety. It was so funny to hear her describe the smily face balloon with a party hat to the sales person.

We have been celebrating since Saturday. We went to the zoo and made a special steak dinner. Keat helped Laine feed the giraffes.

We ate lunch at our favorite Sunday restaurant after church. Last night we shared a big cupcake after dinner. A birthday party is not complete unless you have party hats of course. This is the funniest picture of Davis frowning. He doesn't seem to share Laine's enthusiasum for party hats yet.


Tonight we are going to Zoo night at the Birmingham Barons baseball game.

Update: Laine's toe is much better. I think she has an ear infection and it made her extra whiny over the weekend. Hopefully the antibiotic she's already taking will knock out the ear infection. She also had a good first day in her new class.
