Laine's birthday party had a Backyardigan theme. I led the kids in a treasure hunt in the backyard. I made treasure maps. The first x on the map was the ball pit, where they hunted for sea creatures. 
The second x was the sandbox where they hunted for gold coins.
Then they searched for the duck pond.
Lastly, they found bubbles inside the aquarium. 
Then we ate cupcakes and ice cream.
The kids had so much fun. They played for a long time after we ate. One of Laine's friends sat in the baby pool completely clothed! Laine and several of her friends played in the sandbox (our gift to her). 
So what did Davis do during the party? He was completely entertained by his grandparents, balloons and watching the big kids.
