Nana flew to Birmingham on Thursday to be here for my dissertation defense, which I successfully passed on Friday. Laine had a Halloween party at school on Friday afternoon.
We went to Bowen's birthday party. The kids dressed in their Halloween costumes.
After trick or treating, Laine passed out candy to kids while Keat and I went to dinner to celebrate my successful defense. I think she thought that was more fun than actually trick or treating.
