It snowed in Birmingham on Friday night. Not enough to play in but enough to cover the ground. We bundled up and went to the Homewood Christmas Parade with our neighbors. It was really cold. Then we went Christmas shopping while Davis slept in the car the entire time. Keat didn't even get to see the new Walmart that we went to. It was the nicest Walmart ever. Gosh, they have great kids toys. The kids buy a gift for the entire class to share at Canterbury that their teachers put on a wish list. Basically this is how they replenish their toys every year after they have been beat up on for a whole year by a bunch of kids. So we got hula hoops for Laine's class and a tethered ball contraption for Davis's class. They were very excited. Their school Christmas party is on the 18th and Laine will be singing. She's been practicing at home too.
