I can't think of the last time that Memorial day weekend coincided with the end of school and the beginning of summer but somehow this year it worked out that way. We spent 3 days at the Homewood pool and 1 day at the Ross Bridge neighborhood pool. Davis no longer screams the entire time like he did last year. Instead, he wants to jump in over and over again from the side in the deep end. Nice. Did I mention he refuses to wear a flotation device? It's pretty exhausting to be the person he jumps on constantly but at least he's not scared anymore. Laine discovered a life jacket in the lost and found that she loves and wears while swimming around. Laine has lots of friends at the pool each time and today Davis finally had a friend come too. He let go of us and played with Jack in the shallow end. Check out the skinny boy in the goggles.
