Help

After spending almost 2 hours last night trying to upload video from the video camera, I gave up. I uploaded the video multiple times and each time I couldn't save it to the computer. I need advice about how to upload and edit video. I can't remember how I did this a few momths ago. I know how to share the video once I have it uploaded so I just need help saving. I have a lot of footage that I want to share but I can't. There has got to be an easier way that what I am trying to do.
