Let the Birthday Begin

This past week Laine started to receive birthday presents. I have wrapped a few things but others were either too difficult to wrap or required assembly so we just gave them to her. She loves them all and is enjoying her baby dolls and all the accessories. She is also really starting to become independent and has a lot of opinions about what she wears.
Laine's fashion choices today- too small lime green shirt, pink capri pants, mommy's red socks, red crocs and a pink and yellow jacket. She wore this to get her haircut this morning. We went over to Gramma and Pawpaw's house today to visit with Ashley, Claire and Abbey (and to celebrate Laine's birthday).

These are the presents that she has received so far.

A tricycle from Gramma and Pawpaw. Shortly after this picture was taken, we all had front row seats to the "Battle of the 2 year olds: This is Mine" show featuring Laine and Abbey.
A doll stroller from Aunt Ashley, Uncle Cory, Abbey and Claire. Laine pushed the baby in laps around Gramma and Pawpaw's house tonight.
A babydoll crib from Granny and Papa (her great grandparents). We assembled it after she went to bed and she was so excited to see it in the living room when she woke up.
A highchair from Aunt Kathy and Uncle Joe. Laine thought she would taste the baby's food when she was feeding her.

A baby doll from Aunt Amy that can go in the bathtub. It even has a hooded towel and bath toys.
